The previous roundup with discounted Windows 8 apps and games contained 12 top apps and games as Microsoft has decided to include more than usual. For the first week of 2014, Microsoft is continuing the offer and discounting 6 Windows 8 apps and games and not 3.

Another Red Stripe Deals offer from Microsoft is here and this time the Redmond company is offering the following titles – Hydro Thunder Hurricane, Dungeon of Legends, Pettson’s Inventions 2, Big Mountain Snowboarding, Files&Folders and Pocket Yoga. This time, there’s only a single one that isn’t discounted to %50, and the rest of them have been discounted to half the price.

Starting Jan. 2, the weekly Red Stripe Deals in the Windows Store – which saves you at least 50 percent on certain apps, indie games and Xbox titles – is doubling its selection to six choices.
