We all want our smart home devices to work seamlessly with one another. Having Ring connect to your thermostat would bring in the final piece of the puzzle to make it become complete.
Does Ring work with any thermostats? You can control a Nest thermostat through Ring by using the IFTTT app. The Ring Doorbell 2 also works with the following:

Now, Ring does not have any official third-party thermostat partnerships or a thermostat of their own at the moment. However, there are ways to make some thermostats work through other means.

What Thermostats Work With Ring?

Video Doorbells That Work With Smart Thermostats
So far Ring has not stated if they will be integrating the feature to work with smart thermostats into their system. Google’s Nest system is currently the smart home system that offers integration with its video doorbell and thermostat.
There could be more useful for apps like IFTTT that will allow you to connect your devices together on one app. The other possibility is that there could be an uprise in devices that use Z-Wave.
Z-Wave is a wireless software that is already embedded into a device, that allows another device with Z-Wave to communicate with it. Z-Wave uses low-energy radio waves to help push the connection between two devices.
