It’s Patch Tuesday again! Microsoft will start releasing the June 2019 Patch Tuesday cumulative updates within the next few hours.
Those of you who are running earlier versions of Windows 10 should update their machines as soon as possible in order to get the latest cumulative updates.
The upcoming Patch Tuesday updates are expected to fix security and non-security issues within the operating system. Microsoft specifically aims to address the existing vulnerabilities in Windows 10 OS and its components.
Additionally, the tech giant is releasing monthly cumulative updates for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1. These updates will also bring security-only updates along with some security and non-security enhancements.
Windows 7 users should keep in mind that Microsoft has already announced the end of support deadline for Windows 7. This version of the operating system is scheduled to retire in January 2020.
Microsoft highly recommends users to upgrade to Windows 10 before January 2020. That is the only way you can stay safe online and enjoy the latest features available in Windows 10.
Install Windows 10 June Patch Tuesday updates
These updates will be automatically available on your system. You just need to visit the Settings menu and click Check for updates.
Alternatively, you can manually download the updates from Microsoft’s Update Catalog.
Last month, Microsoft released the Windows 10 May 2019 Update. We’re sure the company will address the bugs introduced in the recent update.
As you already know, all new Windows 10 updates bring some bugs to the table. Therefore, you need to take the necessary precaution measures and backup your system. You can always roll back to the previous version in case something goes wrong.
