A new set of Microsoft Edge extensions comes with the latest Windows 10 Preview build 14986 and includes: Ebates Cashback, Intel True Key, and Read&Write.

Intel’s True Key is a now-famous service that makes it easier for you to log into websites. The extension will remember all your passwords as soon as you enter them for the first time. After that, it will team up with Windows Hello authentication to make sure you’ve entered a password.

This will eliminate the need for passwords as you’ll be able to connect to your favorite websites by scanning your face. True Key has been present on other browsers for quite some time and it finally makes its way to Microsoft Edge now.

Read&Write is another handy extension that was introduced along with build 14986. As its name says, Read&Write’s goal is to make reading and writing in Microsoft Edge easier to users. The extension works with basically all web pages along with the most common file types in OneDrive.

With Read&Write, you can have words, passages, or whole documents read aloud to you, which is good for disabled users. Additionally, there’s also the ability to highlight in documents and web pages (a feature already available in Edge, though), hear translated text, and simplify text on web pages.

And finally, the last Edge extension introduced by Windows 10 Preview build 14986 is Ebates Cash Back. The extension shows you the hottest deals and cash back offers from more than 2000 stores. When you make a purchase on a certain website, Ebates Cash Back will notify you in case there are any good offers. This extension can be used in a good combination with the Shopping Assistant extension for Microsoft Edge.
