Windows 10 Apps are rapidly growing business, and because of that, some major companies are preparing their own Windows 10 apps for Windows Store. Reportedly, Facebook, Box, Shazam, Candy Crush Soda Saga, Flipagram, NASCAR, Uber and many others will release their own apps for Windows Store in the near future.

At yesterday’s Windows 10 Devices event, besides the announcement of new Windows 10 devices, Terry Myerson, Microsoft’s Executive Vice President, said that Windows Store had more than a billion visits since the the release of Windows 10. That fact apparently inspired some huge companies, like Facebook and Uber to start working on their own Windows 10 apps.

Myerson also said which companies are preparing new apps, and we can notice that it’s a real all-star lineup. Facebook looks to be the busiest, as the company prepares new Facebook, Messenger, and for the first time on Windows platform, an official Instagram app. Besides Facebook, we should expect new apps from Shazam, Box, NASCAR, CBS, the new Candy Crush Soda Saga game, as well as the first Uber app. You can read what CEOs and other executives of mentioned companies said about their partnership with Microsoft here.

Although it wasn’t mentioned on yesterday’s conference, but Google is also preparing its own apps for Windows 10. So, we’ll be finally able to use Google Play services, and highly-requested, official YouTube app on our Windows 10 devices. Google wants to return Microsoft a favor, as Redmond-based giant prepares Office apps for Android, and OneDrive app is already present in the Google Play store.

Those companies which already have their Windows 10 apps, like Twitter, or Weather Channel, will work hard on updating their apps. So, we can say that Microsoft is solving the biggest problem of its Store, the lack of apps. And addition of these popular apps will definitely encourage more users to switch to Windows 10, which is already very popular, with 110 million users.
