If you installed the Windows 10 April Update, go to Settings > Privacy > Diagnostic & Feedback and try to change the Feedback frequency. Most likely, you won’t be able to do that. There’s a bug affecting the latest Windows 10 version that’s preventing you from changing the Feedback frequency even if you’re not an Insider.

The message ‘Windows Insider Program manages this option‘ appears on the screen and there is no option, no drop down menu from which to select a different frequency.

Some users suggested that downloading and installing update KB4135051 should fix this problem. Unfortunately, this suggestion doesn’t really work as this bug is rooted into the operating system’s code. This means that Microsoft needs to roll out a hotfix to fix it, as this user points out:

Exactly the same problem on my 1 machine that has never been running insider builds, I do on others , the fast ring one is on 17134.5, Skip Ahead one is 17655.1000 but this one is on version 17134.1 (downloaded using the MCT) and has the feedback options greyed out the same as yours but says I’m not on insider builds.

Well, we don’t think that Microsoft considers this Feedback frequency bug to be an urgent matter, so most likely, the hotfix will  be available next week on May Patch Tuesday.

Yes, a CU is comming for this, patience 😀
