You have a solid amount of songs you listen to every day in your Xbox library, but when you want to download one of the songs from your library, the app won’t allow you. Has this happened to you? If it did, don’t worry, we have a solution for that.
The main indicator of this problem are broken Libraries. This usually happens after you install the new operating system, especially if it is still unstable, designed-for-testing operating system, that lacks a lot of system features, like Windows 10 Technical Preview. Corruption of Libraries could completely disable its functionality, and in our case, prevent Xbox music from downloading. Hopefully bringing Libraries back to normal is simple and it requires just a couple of steps. Here’s how you can fix your broken Libraries in order to be able to download music from Xbox app again:
Download Restoro PC Repair Tool that comes with Patented Technologies (patent available here).
Click Start Scan to find Windows issues that could be causing PC problems.
Click Repair All to fix issues affecting your computer’s security and performance
Restoro has been downloaded by 0 readers this month.
Go to This PC ( Computer )
Click on View, and then click on Navigation Pane
Check Show all folders
Check Show Libraries
Do not uncheck anything that is already checked
Now, locate your Libraries folder in the left hand pane and right click on it
Click on Restore Default Libraries
Your Libraries are back to default, and you can try to download your music from Xbox app again
If broken Libraries aren’t the problem, and you still can’t download your Xbox music after applying these steps, we can also recommend you to download and install this file. This is Microsoft’s Diagnostic Troubleshooter Wizard, which will hopefully find the cause of your problem and try to solve it. You can also try with reinstalling your Xbox Music app, if nothing else from this article helped you.
